Your information, plainly explained.

What we collect

When you use the T1 calculator, your numbers stay in your browser. If you ask for free tax-planning tips by text, we receive:

• your first name (if you give it) and your mobile number;
• the province, tax year and income figures you entered, and the estimate the calculator produced;
• whether you agreed to receive deadline reminders by text.

When you use the contact form, we receive what you type into it.

Why we collect it

To confirm the number belongs to you, to text you tips for your return, to contact you about your estimate and our services, and, only if you ticked the box, to send CRA deadline reminders and tax tips by text.

Who processes it

Verification codes are sent through Google Firebase Authentication. Leads are delivered to us by our form provider. These services may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.

How long we keep it

Up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records as required for tax purposes (generally six years under the Income Tax Act).

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent at any time. Reply STOP to any text to stop reminders. Email dhruvil.cpa@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
